Philosopher's stone...

Great idea! I lived in Warsaw for five years and loved it. I really want to move back. Now onto the photo:

Two big problems. 1) He's holding a british sten sub-machine gun. 2) The ammo pouch at his waist is for a German MP-40 sub-machine gun. 3) The cammo tunic he's wearing belongs to the SS and I don't remember ever seeing an Uprising member wearing one, but then they may have since they didn't have much of their own.

Does the Walker choose the Path or the Path the Walker?

these are no problems actually :)
everything is ok

ad 1) well I'm not 100% sure if it is a sten or a polish construction very simmilar to a sten. Anyhow, they were using everything, every weapon they could get. It was normal to use german rifles, british ones etc.
2) the same with ammo pouches and other stuff - they were using everything they could get. They were no regular troops. Sten and MP-40 magazines are quite simmilar in shape and size, so if the pouch is ok, it worked.
3) They were wearing german SS camouflages because they conquered german magazine at Stawki. After that many of uprising soldiers were wearing camouflages, not only tunics but also caps, helmet covers etc.
There was an order for german troops not to wear any camouflages, because uprising polish soldiers were wearing them. Germans didn't want to be taken for uprising soldiers
